A Quick Wested Question

Hello all,
For those of you who own a New Finish Wested, I am wondering if the color is basically black or if you can still tell it is darker brown. I looked on the Wested site and you can't really tell from there. Right now I own a pre-distressed version of LC and it is really getting beat up... not to mention a couple bleeding spots from my wet shorts in Mexico *sigh*. Anyway, any help is appreciated. Thanks!
