Anyone ever notice in the network version of 'Raiders', when the German soldier on top of the truck has his hat blown off, he doesn't say 'scheissen' (sp?) any more? I assume that's German for, well, merde. I just thought it was funny that ABC censored it to protect the sensibilities of any German-speaking TV watchers.

Also, apropos of nothing, whenever I watch 'Raiders' lately I think if it were made today they could never dare show Marion smoking. There goes that funny little bit where she blows smoke in Toht's face. All in the name of protecting our children from the harmful influence of the media. Did any girls see 'Raiders' as children and grow up to be smokers because they wanted to be like Marion? Somehow I doubt it.
