Speaking for myself, I believe John did the only thing that could be done for the time being. I also agree with what your basic point is, but until you had to deal with the multitude of emails first thing in the morning the day AFTER a chat had taken place when this imposter was performing their "jollies" in my name at the chatroom the night before, you really don't know what a pain it has been. If this individual feels they need to have his/her "fun" by imitating folks other than themselves, well, I can't speak to that sort of behavior. But when they represent themselves as a staff member of IndyGear and pass off information in our names, we, the real staff members, are left in the aftermath the day after to clear up a lot of totally incorrect information and confusion that was caused by that one individuals stupid behavior. I love nothing more than to talk shop with fellow fans who email me for information, advice regarding the gear that we collect, or just a friendly debate regarding something that I've written in the FAQ's, but when all my time is taken up with trying to undo this individuals damage rather than helping the fan, well, something HAD to be done. I, for one, hope that things can get back to normal soon, and that's totally up to John as to the when. I read the posting above regarding the "apology", but you'll have to forgive my cynical nature, as when things like this happen, at my age that kind of thought process rears it's ugly head. Time will only tell if this individual is serious regarding the stop of this kind of childish prank. They've done a lot of damage in this writers opinion. Like I said, all the vinegar above is nothing more than my personal opinion based on the personal experiences I've had that have been the result of these activites. I, too, hope that things will return to their proper course. Thanks for allowing me to let off that little bit of steam. Regards. Michaelson
