hat trouble

I've got a big problem! I just got my custom hatters fedora today and it's slightly to large. I also have a miller fedora, which was also to large when I got it, but I dunked it into the water and shrunk it right up, a bit to much. Any ideas on how I can get my CH fedora to fit? Does water work on this fedora too, or should I ship it back to Mr.White and go with a size smaller? Any ideas or suggestions from you all?
