I personally don't think so. I agree the bashing has received to date needs to stop, but like I said before, I can understand the frustration. I also don't think we should be to the point of the hanging him in effigy yet. Even great ball players get in a slump now and again, no matter how hard they try. Sooner or later they get back up there. I honestly believe Lucas will deliver again at the level everyone expects, and Indy IV will be another crown jewel in the collection of so many past Lucas successes. Regards. Michaelson

Although you didn't like The Phantom Menace, I loved it and thought it was worthy of his prior classics although it did have its weaknesses. But how can you forget Young Indy! It was a fantastic series! I have no opinion on how Indy 4 will be since we have no idea what the plot is but I hardly think it'll be as good as Raiders or ToD. Maybe LC, but that's it. Oh, and for all you people who are worried that Lucas is going to ruin the prequels, take comfort, he recently hired Jonathan Hales, a frequent writer for Young Indy to help him out in the scripting and story. Kinda like Lawrence Kasdan for The Empire Strikes Back. This is great news!

You better re-read my first sentence, Brett. I never made the statement "...LATELY", but others have, which, if you'll notice, I placed the statement in quotation marks, meaning just that....a quote. I also stated that he had produced decent things sporatically throughout the 70's and 80's. He was was executive producer of the Young Indy series, which simply means he bank rolled the series. He had creative say in the programs, but not as much hands-on that he did in his movies, so I stand by the statment I made. Why have folks had so much trouble decoding my posts lately? I don't think they're THAT complicated, or are they? I don't mean them to be. (grins) Regards. Michaelson
