This didnt happen to my Wested, but another leather jacket I have was ripped on the sleeve. I took it to a cobbler and all he could do was add another piece of leather under the tear then sew it back up the best he could. Still pretty noticable though, if nothing else it may just add character to your jacket. Sorry about your luck. Danno
