Why isn't Indy as cool as James Bond?

I can see why they make a new James Bond film every two years. He's so freakin' cool. He has laser pistols and radar-guided cars and all Indy has is that stinkin' worn-out whip. Hahahahaha! I can see why James Bond is soooo much more popular than Indy. Bond gets all the girl while Indy gets nuttin' Bond rocks. Lucas and Co. need to rip off what the Bond people are doing for Indy 4.
