Yeah, I realized that those pics weren't working. I'm working on fixing that now, and hopefully I won't have to rescan them. The question that you have is never really answered. What we get from the movie is that the grail is lost for a thousand years (from about A.D. 40 to AD 1000). And then refound by the knights of the first crusade. Right now I'm trying to come up with a decent backstory about the knights finding it. Some people say that they found it in one of the cities of the crusades, other people say that they found it in the same cave-temple, and simply stuck around to guard it. A lot of the stuff you are going to have to make-up, as long as it fits into the movie, it's fine. There's too many conflicting stories about where the grail went and ended up to be able to satisfy all of the legends and myths around the grail. Just go with what works for your diary.
