: Here's an open poll for all who own authentic Indy costumes/props
: or replicas.

: 1) Why did you pick that specific article for your collection?
: 2) Did you base your decision on sentiment towards a particular
: film or just aesthetic appeal, or both?
: 3)What is your favorite item in your collection?

Answers from the old guy...

1) I tend to buy stuff that looks about right, lasts a while, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It has to be practical, as well as
authentic-looking. Mu hay is actually one I bought in Australia, and isn't a fedora, but it has its own look that is close enough. And so on...
2) I don't worry about the details of the buttons on the jacket from one movie to the next or anything that minute.
So, aesthetics, and practicality are my guides, along with what you are getting for your money.
3) Tough one...my boots are actually the boots I got in basic training (1982!), and are so well broken-in...my jacket has been to Australia with me,
I wore it while hiking around Tikal in Guatemala, and while running with the bulls in Pamplona. I guess the jacket has been through so much that it has
earned a place in my heart, as well as my closet.
