...but, INDY 4 may very well be inevitable. I think the best thing for Lucasfilm to do in 2001 would be to rerelease the original trilogy in theaters, as they did with STAR WARS. But I don't think it would be necessary in the least to make "Special Editions" of the Indiana Jones films. But they could, of course, digitally remaster them as they did on the recent video versions.

And, like with STAR WARS, I think INDY 4 should come out two years later. The best year for INDY 4 would probably be 2003, one year after EPISODE II comes out, just as RAIDERS came out one year after THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. This seems feasible, since Spielberg and Ford's schedules seem filled only until about then.
