Well folks,

I just got back from the WWI Re-enactment in Newwille, Pennsylvania. I have to say it was definitely the best re-enactment I've ever been to so far! The Great War Association puts on a very professional event. The site is awesome, with tons of trenches, shell craters, barbed wire, and the like. When the gas drifts over the battlefield during the day or the colored flares light it up at night, you really feel like you are back in 1917. Unbelievable. If you are at all interested in living history events and live within a 10 hr drive of southern Pennsylvania (near Gettysburg/Chambersburg), then this event would definitely be worthwile for you. I'll be posting some pics on the web soon. I don't know if there is a Belgian unit if you wanted to do the total "young Indy experience" thing, but I do American and had a fantastic time.

Cheers,
Abner
