Karen Allen is as close to the female equivelant to Harrison Ford as you can get. She feisty, tough two-fisted, courageous, a real hellraiser. Indiana Jones is not meant to be especially good-looking. Sure, he's the ruggedly handsome and charming school teacher at one moment, but once he's been dragged by a truck or hung off of a tank for a while, he's dirty, bruised and beat-up. Marion is somewhat like that. One moment she's an ethereal beauty in a white frock, and at another she's a hard-assed bartender.

So you see, even if Indy were a girl, he (she) wouldn't be a babe. Marion is the perfect example of what he'd (she'd) be like. Listen, Herr Mac, I don't know what kind of people you're used to dealing with, but nobody tells her what to do in her place.
