Examine how the bow that comes with the hat is constructed. Take it off the hat(you'll probably need some tiny sharp tipped sewing siscores to cut some little stitches)and take it appart if you want..Then make one or two practice ones with cheap ribon. Try and get some good closeup pictures of the bow on Indys hat.
