Wahoo! It came!

What a great jacket. First off, it's not nearly as light weight as I expected it to be after reading the comments of fellow listers. It's about the same as several other leather jackets I own.

The only thing I'm a little bummed about is that I really like the nickel plated, heavy gauge hardware on the ones in the films (zippers and d-rings). This one has a lighter gauge brass zipper and d-rings. I'll get over it.

I got mine with the satin lining - which I like.

I'm curious, though. This jacket fits me better than an average size 40, but there's clearly half of a label which once read "40" still sewn under the wested tag (the other half has been cut off). Does anyone know how Wested works? Do they make a basic size, and then modify it as necessary once they receive an order? Most 40s don't have sleeves this long...
