: What do you all think...

: It seems at the end of "Treasure of the Peacock's Eye" that Indy and Remy are no longer on the best terms, so what if Remy continued his search for the lost diamond, losing his wife and family over his "obsession," and turning him into a bitter man... meanwhile Indy returns home and goes to college and has all of his great adventures... which brings us to the time of Indy IV (so Indy will be about 106, haw haw haw!!)... Indy will go about whatever new adventure Luca$ and Spielberg dream up, and along the way, he runs into bitter old Remy, who happens to be searching for the same fantastic treasure Indy is looking for... somewhere in the mix, Remy turns traitor on Indy and sells him out to the Nazis/Soviets/religious zealots Indy is up against, but remembering old times, comes to Indy's aid, costing Remy his own life... and then right before Remy dies, he tells Indy how sorry he is and gives Indy Alexander the Great's diamond (which Remy has worn on a string around his neck or something), and all is well and good... any thoughts on this?

Someone on the forum brought up an interesting theory a while ago. They asked, what if the diamond they were searching for in Treasure of the Peacock's Eye is actually the same diamond that Indy is trading in Temple of Doom? What if Remy found it sometime inbetween 1919 and 1935 and somehow Indy got a hold of it (perhaps Remy died as you suggested, or was given to Indy). I'd like to think that will be explained sometime by the trio, but it's probably just going to stay a theory here in Indyfan world.
