Well, here I am back home. I had a good stay. It didn't work
out, though. I DID, however, receive my 6-foot David Morgan bullwhip.
The whip is not as slick-feeling as my 12-foot, but it is three times
as fast and VERY sweet. I named it Vicki (after Vicki Lewis). Now I
can do all of that ultra-fast and snappy whip work like Harrison did
when he was fighting the Cairo swordsman in The Making of Raiders.
I am extremely pleased with it. (I had to order the whip maintenance
kit separately because mine didn't include it. I ordered it before
they started throwing those in.) Good thing, too. I have worn off
half of the cracker!!!
Good news for Zorro fans: they already have a script and they
are going to begin production next year. I discussed whips with
Alex Green at the 2000 WWAC National Convention. He doesn't seem
to favor David Morgan's whips though. I was given the brush-off
after I kept bringing up the subject. If I could have my choice, I
would much rather have spent the day discussing whips with Glenn Randall. I think he's way cool!
In other news, I sent my picture to the IndyGear photo contest
and they have yet to publish it. What's the story, guys? Come on...
I spent three hours in the Mojave Desert and have nothing to show
for it. PLEASE post my picture!!! Thank you!!! :)
Still searching for my red-haired Celtic soulmate... No such
luck, though.

Yours truly,

Dale Dassel
