Shorty w/Indy's Hat

Has anyone ever noticed that in "Temple of Doom"
when they are in the Maypore village, eating the
native gruel, Shorty starts out with Indy's hat
on frontwards. The scene switche to a more close-up of Indy, but you can still see Shorty, and the
Hat is on backwards. Then switch to close-up of
Shorty and the Hat's on frontwards again. Another
close-up of Indy and it's backwards again. This
almost seems intentional. I guess this illustrates
how piecemeal these scenes are and how easy an editor/director can screw up the continuity.
