Indy's whip in "Starship Troopers"?

I remember this awhile ago when I saw Starship Troopers for a 100th
time a month or two ago. Remember the flogging scene where Johnny
Rico got 10 lashes? When they pull out that whip, doesn't it look
EXACTLY like Indy's whip? It even has the same sound effects. I
think that this could have very well been one of the whips used in the
Indy trilogy since Vic Armstrong (who did many stunts for the Indy
films) worked on Starship Troopers also as a Stunt Coordinator so he
could have brought in one of his whips used in Indy. What do you
think?
