I'd also suggest studying scenes that have the look you are going for so you REALLY have a good idea of what you are trying to achieve. However, as the hats change from scene to scene (I'm watching Raiders on SCIFI right now), the same hat look won't likely be presented linearly.

If you want the sharp crease, look at the boulder scene and bar scene in ROTLA. For the softer look, check out boarding the plane and then steps of the gov't building scenes in ROTLA or the bridge scene in TOJ. (Also higher crown in these).

TOD shows off the upcurl in the sidebrim and also the softer front dents.

The Miller is *very* good for making the look of the early (after the boat) scenes in LC.

Now back to ROTLA for me :-)
