My favorites (Ireland 1916 and "The Scandal of 1920") have yet to be released on video, but of the ones available, I'd suggest Trenches of Hell, Treasure of the Peacock's Eye and Phantom Train of Doom to start with. Of course, they're all great, so you can't go wrong. The only one that disappointed me was "Masks of Evil." I'd been waiting years to finally get to see the vampire episode, and it didn't live up to my expectations. Bob Peck, whom I normally like, made a terrible Vlad. He was not the least bit scary. Furthermore, the special effects were sub-par for the series and the story was full of plot holes. Overall, though, 'twas a wonderful series.
