She was rumored to be involved with Indy IV after the time of Tomorrow Never Dies. Her role would obviously be Indy girl, rather than DIRECTOR!? It seems like a mixup, but an insanely stupid mixup. So, maybe it IS a joke, because everyone knows the director is Spielberg. If it is a joke, it's not very funny in my opinion.
