The production time is a whole different issue -- they're in business to do other stuff (movie production costumery) and this is surprisingly a (heckuva) side business. Not much we can do about that!
It's the non-monetary price paid for getting these items. And I'm sure nearly everyone who has made these purchases will tell you A) the wait is worth it and B) Wested tries to do right by their customers.

This has been not always the case with others; HJ has a not-so-favored rep, for example.
But isn't it worth a few extra bucks to get it to you all that much faster if you're REALLY in a hurry?

Plus, who in their right mind trusts regular old international shipping!? ;-)
