Hippodrome Hatters update

Last year we heard about a hat store in Baltimore, MD that had been in the hat business for several generations, Hippodrome Hatters. They offer a good looking fedora, the G-Man, that has the characteristics that the Indy fedora requires, as well as a decent price to boot. I spoke to Lou at Hippodrome (the owner), and he said that he expects these to be back in stock by the end of August, as they order their stock by the season, and not just to "warehouse" hats in sales attempts. Anyway, if anyone is looking for another source for a good fur felt fedora at a good price, check out www.hiphats.com and look at the "G-man" in their dress fedoras. They also offer complete hat service at VERY reasonable prices. I'm sending a fedora off to them Friday for service. We'll see how well they do. Regards. Michaelson
