: : Hey dudes, have you guys seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers video for
: : "Californication"? Probably not, since it's very new and I doubt most of you
: : Indyfans are into MTV (forgive me if this is not the case).

: : Anyways, the song AND the music video kick ass!! The video is one of the
: : best music videos I've ever seen (right up there with "Thriller"). Anyways, the
: : concept of the video is where all 4 members of the Chili Peppers are inserted
: : into a video game and they go through lots of video-gamish obstacles all in
: : similar animation to Infernal Machine, Tomb Raider and all those styles of
: : gaming (3rd person I believe). One part of the music video features Flea (the
: : bassist for the band) going on a mine cart!! It seems a lot like they were
: : giving a reference to ToD and (possibly) Infernal Machine? What do you think
: : guys? Is that an Indy reference?

: the flea in the mine cart scene also reminds me of when the chili peppers rode in the roller coaster in the beavis & butthead music video some years ago.
