Look on the bright side...ever since doing Schindler's List, Spielberg has said that he never wants to portray Nazis as cartoon villians again. Which means that it would be fitting to set Indy IV sometime after WWII...say, 10 or 15 years after Last Crusade. So HF's being a little older would actually work better for the film. (Face it...nobody'll buy Indy IV if it's set in 1940!)
