Harrison Ford had to make an emergency landing in the Midwest on Sunday night after the private plane he was piloting encountered wind shear. Ford's six-passenger Beach Bonanza touched down at the airport in Lincoln, Neb., with an unidentified passenger aboard. Neither person was injured, reports the Associated Press. The Federal Aviation Administration said that the star, 57, was en route to Lincoln from Fort Wayne, Ind., when the winds shifted and forced down the aircraft. "He reported wind shear as he was coming in for a landing and clipped the runway," said a representative of the FAA, who added that the plane's wing tips were damaged. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate. The incident comes within a month of actor Patrick Swayze's emergency landing of his private plane in Arizona.
