That's a three engine plane, and when it takes off, they're all spinning, but when they shoot through the window of the plane, the front one never turns (even before they run out of gas). Well, the Ford tri-motor engines were independent of each other, and a lot of times the front engine could be "feathered" or plain shut down to conserve fuel, though in this case I doubt it, considering it was trying to climb over the mountains. I agree, continuity wasn't exactly a long suit in this movie. Regards. Michaelson
