If it's time machines for the plot I don't think it will be a big hit.

Because we all know time travel is impossible (but check out my story at the FF forum called Indiana Jones and the Third World). But I think it should be an artifact.

: Just what is bigger or better than the Holy Grail? The name holy grail has so much attached to it that it's tough to find something bigger. Atlantis could probably do it, but they wasted that story-line.

: here are some other contenders, El Dorado, The Fountain of Youth, the spear that pierced Christ's side, maybe a time machine artifact...alien stuff.. it starts to get silly after a while.
