I guess maybe I'll try the Stetson, then. I can get 4 of them for the price of one CH hat, and somehow I doubt that the CH one has 4 times the durability of the Stetson. Which leaves aesthetics as the deciding factor, and for $100, if I don't like it, I can call it a reasonable hedge against being out $400 for one that just about everyone who's gotten one says is the best reproduction out there.
