: I was thumbin' through my old 'Raiders Read-Along Record' book and I found somethin' that contradicts Wested's claim of producing an "exact" replica of Indy's jacket. It's in a picture(hopefully posted above) of the fight scene in Marion's bar. It show in pretty clear detail the back of Indy's jacket. I've seen this picture dozens of times before but this one was larger and clearer than other books'. It shows that the left-hand side-strap is sewn on the OUTSIDE of the back flap, rather than on the underside of it. I always assumed it was on the underside in the movies, so maybe this's an extra, maybe "French" coat like used in 'Temple'. But nonetheless, the Wested's on the underside, and my Cooper is on the outside....which's the real deal? I'm not so sure anymore.

Hmmm. I know what you are talking about. The scene in front of the
fireplace, when Indy is about to whack the Nepalese goon. Could it
be that the strap ripped loose in the heat of the moment? Then they
probably looked for a quick fix... Fall Guy
