: Just had a question regarding your Wested, as I am about ready to place my order. When you gave your measurements etc.....did you request a size larger than you normally wear? I have seen several recent posts on the forum that have said to order a size larger, and other posts that say don't. Thanks for you assistance. Regards,Williamson

I gave all the usual measurements to Peter. In addition I told him
that a British size 44 fits me well. I based this claim on 2 jackets
that I own and that say that the size is XL(US), 54(EU), 44(UK).

Knowing that the jacket would be a tight fit, I added 1" to the
shoulder measurement, which worked out perfectly. Interestingly,
Peter sent me a size 46... This suggests that US and UK size are
not identical. I have seen comparison charts that show identical
or one size different. According to Peter, men's sizes in the US
and UK are identical. Confusing, right? I checked the sleeve
lenght on the jacket and it is exactly what I ordered. Therefore,
I suggest you measure well and give your regular size as a back-
up.

One thing about the sleeves: They are on the tight side, which is
not a problem if you have regular upper arms. I'm no Arnold
Schwarzenegger, but the sleeves are definitely a tight fit. You
may want to consider that...

I hope that helps. Fall Guy
