As I understand it the difference lies in the age of the animal
used. Grown animals supply supply 'hide', young ones supply 'skin'.
Therefore, there can be no lamb hide, but only skin.
Also, Peter stated that the leather is napa leather. That's a process
that traditionally involves tawing the skins with a soap-and-oil
mixture... Napa leather is very popular for gloves due to its soft-
