Oh, yeah, I had a thought regarding TEMPLE OF DOOM. Are all the Thuggees under the Black Sleep of Kali? I have the script, and in it it says that when Mola Ram catches the red-hot Sankara Stone when it falls out of Indy's bag, "the light suddenly dies in his eyes, and for one instant he looks at Indy as if awakened from a nightmare." This doesn't happen in the movie, but it would mean that Mola Ram was under the Black Sleep and the searing heat from stone woke him up, just as the fire did with Indy and the Maharajah. So does the entire Thuggee Cult consist of people who drank the blood of Kali and none of them made the choice themselves to become evil?
