Well if What Lies Beneath does well, it wouldn't be much of an issue about his age. They'll probably be shooting the movie in 2002 if what we've been hearing lately is true, so he'd probably still be ok.

There's no way to know if Indy will have a son, and I doubt they would resort to such a cheap gimmick like that.

: 4. Most likley it will take place in the 40s or 50s which would be retarded because he cant fight Nazis which are the ultimate form of evil.

The Russians would be just fine. The Nazi's are better, but you can't always have Indy run into the same type of villains all the time.

: 5. They probably will also use new computer graphics which is not Indy and the graphics should be bad because they are only B movies as Spielberg said.

The graphics for the present Indy films were all considered state-of-the-art in their time, so of course they'll use the best special effects money can buy. It probably won't be as FX-heavy as say The Phantom Menace, but I doubt it would look so horrible. CGI will certainly improve in the next few years.

: 6. Merchandising will be horrible. Most likely there will be new Indy toys but they wont be Indy but old Indy. Everything will be Indy 4, buy gray haired Indy action figure, I dont like it.

There's no way to tell that. If the movie is a big success, merchandise will probably be the same as long as it's not over-saturated and it doesn't alienate any non-Indy fanatics. And they'd die Harry's grey hair for the film so there WON'T be a grey-haired Indy figure.

: 7. The Indy trilogy IS perfect and you can neither add to it or take away from it.

Can't disagree with you there. It is great the way it is, but a 4th film won't necessarily ruin things. As long as the script is good, and everyone is working at all 8 cylinders, it'll be fine.

: 8. I think they will try to make it attractive to younger people so I see a woman costar a lot hotter. But that is so unrealistic.

Since when should realism be a factor in these types of films. These films are escapist films and having a drop-dead gorgeous leading lady wouldn't be a weakness to Indy 4.

: 9. The movie wont fit in with the others, they are 80s movies and trying to make an 80s type movie in 2000 (or 2005 or however long it will take them) is just stupid.

So what? There was a 16-year gap between Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace and that didn't stop Lucas from making it. There was a sequel to The Odd Couple (which SUCKED) over 30 years later, age doesn't necessarily have to be a factor of how they should "fit."

Uhh.... No. Most of the cast and crew are alive and well. Yes, a few have died (like River Phoenix, The Grail Knight, Toht, Imam, Lao Che and others) but they were never going to appear in any sequels.

: 11. I love Indy but I so scared that this could somehow change Indy and CHANGE IS BAD!!! So I say put the first three back in theaters if they're looking for more money or fans because those movies are the BEST!!!!

Change can be bad. It doesn't necessarily have to be bad. Again, it all depends on the script and if all the elements do fit together well.

Your logic and reasoning seems a little wacked if you ask me.
