A Movie Question

It was 10 years ago or more. I was at the seaside (as I live in Poland, the sea in question is the Baltic) and there I saw two videos. Although the titles were in German, I believe the original movies were American. The titles were something like 'Tex and...', resembling the style of the Indy movie titles. But the resemblances didn't stop at that. On the covers, there was a whip-in-full-swing-wielding adventurer sporting a hat. Now, has anyone heard of those movies (I'm especially counting on Indyfans from Germany)? I'd love to see them, even though they may be third-rate take-offs.
