I had read that as well. We used to always scotchgard all our clothes before we went skiing, and it worked pretty well. It was hard to find a right hand glove with 6 fingers though ;-).

Also, I just called Peters Bros. and spoke with Joe jr.. He said that you don't even need to scotchgard it, just keep it brushed.

The up side of all this is now I'm absolutely not sure what to do!
