: Hi,

: Another question about the Young Indy series...unfortunately Paramount UK don't want to release most of the videos until the end of the year in England :-( so I have to turn to the board to satisfy my curiosity.

Why do you think so? My latest information about from Paramount U.K. says that the July 3rd release is delayed to August 14th but the other release dates are still holding (I have a page with the dates on my site: http://fly.to/IJC).

: Anyway - onto the question - in "Phantom Train of Doom", when Paul Freeman's character (Frederick Selous) and Indy first meet, Indy tells him that they have met before when Indy was a young boy. Here's what I was wondering: is this just all convenient plot device or is Selous in another, earlier Young Indy episode?

Indy meets Selous in British East Africa, September 1909 (the Safari episode).

: Forgive me if the answer is obvious - until Paramount decide to be generous to us British Indyfans, the Young Indy adventures have little continuity!

: Oh, and it's certainly surprising how Indy never commented to Belloq on the remarkable likeness between the two characters ;-)
