The problem is that you need more discs, so you will be flipping them even more. That is why laserdiscs are going the way of the dinosaur and I am all for it, even though I have about 30 laserdiscs including all the Indiana Jones and Star Wars films.
CLV can be frozen and the picture is good when you freeze it however it is very difficult to get it right where you want it and you need a player with a digital memory.
