I, like most of you was appalled by "Cari's" statements. I agree that she must be young, and also encourage her to begin to start thinking for herself. However, I don't think that she should see "Saving Private Ryan" because her statements indicate that she is not mature enought to handle it. Yes, the movie is violent, as someone else said, so is war. Does this mean that he movie should not be shown-NO! It means that the movie should be viewed by many, afterall, the people who lived through it were not given the choice of whether or not they wanted to view the violence. So Cari, wait a few years and catch "Saving Private Ryan" on video. For your sake, I hope that your views have changed!
