Temples of Angkor

Check out the August issue of National Geographic. The article on Angkor Wat and associated temples is an interesting read. It's tragic, really. If you thought the days of dynamiting tombs and putting ground up mummy in your tea were long gone, you'll be aghast at the story told therein. The pillaging of archaeological treasures isn't just something that happened in the thirties. Today, temples in Cambodia are being chopped up and sold on the open market...

I just wish there was something that could be done about it.
