Well, it would depend on whether you have the snap fully depressed and locked, and the positioning of the bullwhip.
Also, a longer whip with more coils will stay put better than a
6-foot bullwhip. I have recently been wearing mine around the
house and yard, with no problem other than the occasonal whip slide.
But, for the most part, it stays in pretty good.
