If "ToD" had been a stand-alone movie it would have bombed just like "Alan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold."
Or worse, if it had been made before "Raiders," the whole Indy phenomena might never have existed.
It has vaule as a chapter in Indy's life, and that's about it.
