No love for the Russians?

Most of the talk I've seen about the bad guys in the fourth Indy movie disses the Russians. Many want the Chinese or Nazi or Canadians or whatever. I just want to know what everyone has against the Russians. They're great bad guys!
Now I don't want anyone to get offended by this, but this example springs to mind: The Rocky movie where he fights the Russian. Now someone explain to me how that Russian boxer isn't a great bad guy! I see no reason why a hord of Russian boobs wouldn't make a great foil for Indy.
