To add further confusion :-) , steam is the only way I shape hats, so all my Millers have been exposed to the teakettle.

I bin thinkin' about this a while; either we've had different felt of maybe you use more steam? I've just been curious since I doubt either of us are amateurs at this. Weird, eh?
