Wider leather facings?

From your schematics I gather that (at least) the vertical leather facings on THAT jacket were wider than on the current version. That might partially explain why the leather loops were more recessed on the original jacket. The vertical leather facing on my jacket measures exactly 1.25". Judging from your drawing the leather facing should be about twice as wide as the leather loop is long: 1.5". As for the distance from the bottom to the strap (5.5"), that's dead on.
