Not too long. I left it out probably for a good two weeks. All day, every day. It's a nice solid brown now. Then again, it might also depend on your weather. I was leaving my whip out for tanning during the middle of a hot southern California summer. Usually not a cloud in the sky.

: How long do I have to leave my whip in the sun for it to get dark? Now it's a very light brown, almost pink. Thanks!
