As for Indy's tie: every archaeologist knows the importance of looking good. Sure, Indy wears a leather jacket in the desert, but back then, folks were tougher! Why, when I was working in a slaughter house back in the '30s, I wore a parka all day and had to walk the LONG way to work (the route took me through southern Arizona) and did I complain? No! I was happy to have work! Now where was I? Oh yes, back then nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them! "Gimme five bees for a quarter!" we used to say...
