I've never liked the thought of big action heros (e.g. James Bond) settling down and having children, and Indy is no exception. But the thought of Portman playing Indy's daughter actually doesn't sound bad. The rumors of him having a son always makes my stomach turn because I always get the mental image that they'd go for a mini-Indy or something. A daughter (especially Natalie) sounds like a neat idea. I for some reason can't think of anything to elaborate on why a daughter is better then a son for Indy IV, but that's my opinion.
