OK, recall that the reason Indy's junk in the films is English is because they just happened to be there in England. The English were copying American, (but somebody added the straps and pleaty things, maybe to allow the front to look good tied together?), but the result is that the Raiders jacket looks a lot better than the ToD and LC jackets.

Incidentally, did anybody notice that both Indiana Jones and President Clinton both play the saxophone well? Indiana Jones is modeled on President Clinton, totally.
