There also needs to be two mor lines closer to the edge - that's being handled. This is why in some scenes it looks like the straps are attached on the outside, and in others it looks like they are under the seam. There is similar stitching on the other end of the strap attachment.

Again, after adding the other two lines of stitching on each of the ring attachments and lengthening the zipper - this will be a replica of the jacket I saw.
